Marchaea Hall is a self-taught black visual artist specializing in abstract art who lives and works in the Baltimore Metropolitan Area. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Texas San Antonio. Shortly after graduating she began serving in the Air Force where the unique challenges and experiences of military life reignited her desire to express herself through art.

Even at the early age of 7 she exhibited a talent for drawing portraits of family members, historical figures, and celebrities using a multiude of mediums. However in more recent years she has been drawn to abstract painting which has allowed her the freedom to be as vibrant and unrestrained as her Miami roots.

With her palette knife and canvas she endeavors to reconnect her audience with the best aspects of childhood - imagination and a sense of wonder.
